LG Optimus Factory Reset

In case your LG Optimus phone is locked out or if by any chance you need to factory reset your LG Optimus handset, you can reset the phone to factory setting by following the instructions, however, remember that contact information stored on your phone and applications that you have downloaded may all be erased after the reset.

If you are locked out of the Optimus because you forgot your gmail ID or password. This is how you do it.

1. Turn the phone off.
2. Press and hold the following keys for over 5 seconds: Power button, Home button, and the volume down button.
3. Release when the phone powers on.

By any chance, if you can get into the phone and still want to reset the phone to factory settings to clean the data, please follow this method:
1. Press Home and go to setting.
2. To privacy.
3. Factory data reset. And follow through.

EASY right. But remember, your data will be wiped away.
